DESCRIPTION

The DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) sends and receives data to and from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly, skid control ECU assembly and VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) via CAN communication.

All conditions are met:


  • 2 seconds or more elapse after turning the power switch on (IG).

  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.

  • The signal from the skid control ECU assembly is lost for approximately 3 seconds or more.

  • Skid control ECU assembly

  • CAN communication system

 Comes on Power switch on (IG) again
U0130/41 Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module

All conditions are met:


  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the power switch on (IG).

  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.

  • The signal from the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) is lost for approximately 3 seconds or more.

  • VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU)

  • CAN communication system

 Comes on Power switch on (IG) again
U0293/41 Lost Communication with Hybrid Vehicle Control System

All conditions are met:


  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the power switch on (IG).

  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.

  • The signal from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is lost for approximately 3 seconds or more.

  • Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly

  • CAN communication system

 Comes on Power switch on (IG) again

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

Since DTC C15C9/76 is stored in the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU), after performing repairs on the dynamic rear steering system, clear the DTCs for the VGRS system.
