  3. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

    1. Confirm the conditions present when the VGRS temporarily stopped.

      Tech Tips

When the steering torque is large, the actuator easily overheats. In this situation, the system is stopped to prevent the actuator from overheating.

      The steering torque is normal.

      Tech Tips

When the power steering system has failed, the system is stopped to protect the system when the load torque is large.

  5. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

    1. Check if the system stops repeatedly when steering the vehicle.

      OK
The system does not stop repeatedly.

      Tech Tips

After the power switch is turned on (IG) and the steering wheel is operated, an initial check of the lock is performed. When operating the steering wheel during the initial check, VGRS operation may be stopped, but operation is resumed again quickly.
