DESCRIPTION

13A0/11, C13A5/41 and C13B0 are stored when a malfunction occurs in the internal power supply of the parking brake ECU assembly.

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Power switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch assembly pushed to lock side with power switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's power source relay is open for approximately 0.5 seconds.

 Parking brake ECU assembly Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
C13A5/41 Electric Current of Motor

All of following conditions are met:


  1. Power switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch assembly pushed to lock side with power switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's internal current is abnormal.

  3. When parking brake is operating, problem occurs for approximately 0.3 seconds.; when parking brake is not operating, problem occurs for approximately 0.5 seconds.

 Parking brake ECU assembly Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
C13B0 Electric Parking Brake ECU Malfunction

All of following conditions are met:


  1. Power switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch assembly pushed to lock side with power switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's internal voltage is abnormal, or EEPROM is malfunctioning.

  3. Problem occurs for approximately 0.5 seconds.

 Parking brake ECU assembly Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.

Note

If the parking brake ECU assembly is replaced, perform the "Reset Memory" and "Acquire Tension Sensor Zero Point" procedures.
