ACTIVE REAR WING REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. B000UIH

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear spoiler motor assembly with the 3 "TORX" screws.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SPOILER DRIVE GEAR


    1. B000XKT

      Install the rear spoiler drive gear to the rear spoiler motor assembly with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      6.5 N*m  { 66 kgf*cm, 58 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR SPOILER DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B000WYJ Install in this Direction (1)
      B000YNM Install in this Direction (2)

      Insert the guide as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the rear spoiler drive gear sub-assembly to the rear spoiler insert with 4 new bolts.

      Torque:
      6.7 N*m  { 68 kgf*cm, 59 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      Insert the guide.

    2. Install the top cover lock control link sub-assembly LH with 2 new bolts.

      Torque:
      6.7 N*m  { 68 kgf*cm, 59 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL CONNECTOR WIRE


    1. B000XIT

      Connect the connector and install the connector wire.

  7. INSTALL REAR SPOILER INSERT

    Tech Tips

    When installing the rear spoiler insert, heat the rear spoiler and rear spoiler insert.

    CAUTION:


    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.

    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    1. When reusing the rear spoiler insert, remove the double-sided tape remaining on the installation surface of the rear spoiler.

    2. Remove the peeling paper of the double-sided tape trying not to touch the adhesional surface.

    3. Attach the clip and install a new rear spoiler to the rear spoiler insert.

      Tech Tips

      Press the rear spoiler firmly to install it.

  8. INSTALL REAR SPOILER COVER LH

      Attach the claws and install the rear spoiler cover LH.

  9. INSTALL REAR SPOILER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000WTH

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear spoiler sub-assembly with 4 new "TORX" screws.

      Torque:
      5.1 N*m  { 52 kgf*cm, 45 in.*lbf }
