ACTIVE REAR WING DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000WTH

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" screws and rear spoiler sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER LH


    1. B000X8I

      Detach the claws and remove the rear spoiler cover LH.

  3. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER INSERT


    1. Detach the clips and double-sided tape and remove the rear spoiler insert.

  5. REMOVE CONNECTOR WIRE


    1. B000XIT

      Disconnect the connector and remove the connector wire.

  6. REMOVE TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B000VF8C01
      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the top cover lock control link sub-assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE REAR SPOILER DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction (1)
      B000YNM Remove in this Direction (2)

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide as shown in the illustration and remove the rear spoiler drive gear sub-assembly from the rear spoiler insert.

  9. REMOVE REAR SPOILER DRIVE GEAR


    1. B000XKT

      Remove the 4 screws and rear spoiler drive gear from the rear spoiler drive gear sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. B000UIH

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 "TORX" screws and rear spoiler motor assembly.
