ACTIVE REAR WING REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the active rear wing assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT SLIDING ROOF DRAIN HOSE

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Remove the clip.

    2. Disconnect the sliding roof drain hose.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER DRAIN END CAP LH

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 3 nuts and rear spoiler drain end cap LH.

    2. B000Z1H

      Remove the rear spoiler seal from the rear spoiler drain end cap LH.

  5. INSTALL REAR SPOILER DRAIN END CAP RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE ACTIVE REAR WING


    1. Using needle-nose pliers, disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 14 nuts.

    3. Detach the clip and guides and remove the active rear wing.

  7. REMOVE COLLAR

      Remove the 8 collars.
