  1. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE

  2. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR

  3. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

  4. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the rear corner ultrasonic sensor.

  5. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the rear corner ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  6. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP

  7. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the retainer.

    2. Detach the claws and remove the license plate light sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE

    Tech Tips

    When removing the No. 1 moulding tape, heat the rear bumper cover and No. 1 moulding tape using a heat light.

    CAUTION:

    1. Using a heat light, heat the rear bumper cover and No. 1 moulding tape.

      Remove the No. 1 moulding tape.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Detach the claws.

    2. Detach the anti-drop hook and remove the rear bumper piece LH as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 4 screws.

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 4 grommets.

    3. Remove the rear bumper extension sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 6 screws.

    2. Remove the 2 clips.

      Detach the guides and claws and remove the rear bumper center extension sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER PAD

    Tech Tips

    When removing the rear bumper center pad, heat the rear bumper cover and rear bumper center pad using a heat light.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 1 PAD

    Tech Tips

    When removing the rear bumper No. 1 pad, heat the rear bumper cover and rear bumper No. 1 pad using a heat light.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD (w/ Rear Bumper Pad)

    Tech Tips

    When removing the rear bumper pad, heat the rear bumper cover and rear bumper pad using a heat light.

  18. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the screw.

      Detach the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  19. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Detach the claws and remove the rear bumper extension LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the claws and remove the rear bumper extension.

  23. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CORNER EXTENSION LH

      B000WYJ Turn Direction

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the claws.

    3. With the guides as a starting point, turn the rear bumper corner extension LH to detach the clips and guides and remove the rear bumper corner extension LH as shown in the illustration.

  24. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CORNER EXTENSION RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  25. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD INSERT

    Tech Tips

    When removing the rear bumper pad insert, heat the rear bumper corner extension LH and rear bumper pad insert using a heat light.

  26. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 3 PAD

    Tech Tips

    When removing the rear bumper No. 3 pad, heat the rear bumper corner extension LH and rear bumper No. 3 pad using a heat light.

  27. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 PAD

    When removing the rear bumper No. 2 pad, heat the rear bumper corner extension LH and rear bumper No. 2 pad using a heat light.

  28. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT LH

      Detach the clips and claw and remove the rear bumper No. 2 side support LH.

  29. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  30. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 4 SIDE SUPPORT LH

      Remove the grommet and rear bumper No. 4 side support LH.

    3. Detach the guides and remove the rear bumper No. 1 side support LH.

  33. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 1 SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  34. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (for Reinforcement Type A)

      Detach the guides and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  35. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Reinforcement Type A)

      Remove the 10 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  36. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH (for Reinforcement Type B)

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.

  37. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH (for Reinforcement Type B)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  38. REMOVE REAR BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH (for Reinforcement Type B)

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper bar reinforcement LH.
