HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

      Inspect the hazard warning switch.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        6 (HAZ) - 3 (GND) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

      Check the illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

        OK
        Battery Connection Specified Condition

        Positive (+) → 7 (ILL+)

        Negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates
        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.
