PROCEDURE


  1. CUSTOMIZE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM SETTINGS

  2. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the steering wheel assembly 90° to the right from the straight condition and remove the screw shown in the illustration.

    2. B000Z9I

      Turn the steering wheel assembly 90° to the left from the straight condition and remove the screw shown in the illustration.

    3. B000VY2

      Remove the screw.

    4. B000XTR

      Press the part in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    5. B000UAJ

      Press the part in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    6. B000URF

      Detach the claws.

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Pull the lower steering column cover sub-assembly in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to remove, taking care not to catch the tilt and telescopic switch.

  3. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

      Detach the clips and disconnect the upper steering column cover from the meter hood spacer.

    2. B000XUN

      Detach the claw and remove the upper steering column cover.

  4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      B000YNM Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Pressing forcefully will damage the claw.
