WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM UTILITY


  1. WIPER ARM INSTALLATION

    Tech Tips

    The purpose of this procedure is to prevent the wiper motor from operating when installing the wiper arm.


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Utility.

    6. Select the "Wiper Arm Installation" to using the GTS.


      Body Electrical > Main Body > Utility

  2. Tech Tips

    This item is displayed on the GTS, but cannot be operated as the auto wiper system is not available for this vehicle.

    WIPER SPECIFICATION SWITCH


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Steering Angle Sensor / Utility.

    6. Select the "Wiper Specification Switch" to using the GTS.

  3. OPERATION HISTORY

    Tech Tips

    Operation History: Windshield wiper motor assembly is stored in the non-operation history of the wiper and washer system and can be read using the GTS.

    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Wiper / Utility.

    6. Following the instructions on the screen, save the operation history.
