OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • Fully close the front door glass sub-assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B000WQN

      Attach the claw to set the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      Note

      Hold the outer rear view mirror assembly LH with one hand so that it does not drop.

    2. Install the 3 nuts to install the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      Install the 3 hole plugs.

    4. Close the front door glass sub-assembly LH fully close position.

        Connect the No. 2 front door wire LH connector.

        B000WYJ Temporarily Set in this Direction

        Insert the upper portion of the front door trim board sub-assembly LH into the front door panel to temporarily set it.

      3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      4. Operate the multiplex network master switch assembly and set the front door glass sub-assembly LH to the fully close position.

      5. Turn the engine switch off.

        Disconnect the No. 2 front door wire LH connector.

        B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

        Remove the front door trim board sub-assembly LH.

    5. B000VV4

      Attach the clamp.

    6. B000YZWC01
      B000WYJ Close

      Connect the connector.

    7. Attach the claw to close the wire harness protector.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  7. INSPECT POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM
