  1. CHECK BASIC OPERATION


    1. Check user lock/unlock transmitter-linked operations

    2. Check auto lock-linked operation

      Shift-linked Auto Lock Function*1 Engine started and all doors closed with the shift lever moved from P to a position other than P Lock Retracted
      Auto Lock Function (30 Second Wait)*2 After unlocking all doors with either the entry or wireless operation, any of the doors do not unlock within 30 seconds Lock Retracted

      • *1: When checking "Shift-linked Auto Lock Function", make sure that the "Auto Lock/Shift" is set to "ON" with the GTS customization. (The default setting is "ON"*3 or "OFF"*4)

        • *3: Only for models with the vehicle identification number on the certification label ending with the character A.

        • *4: Except models with the vehicle identification number on the certification label ending with the character A.

      • *2: When checking "Auto Lock Function (30 Seconds Wait)", make sure that the "Auto Lock Time" is set to "30 s" with the GTS customization. (The default setting is "30 s")

    3. Check auto unlock-linked operation

      Driver Side Door Open-linked Unlock Function*1 Driver side door is opened within approximately 45 seconds after turning the engine switch off from engine switch on (IG) Unlock Opened
      Key Lock-in Prevention Function*2

      Any of the following conditions is met


      • The driver or front passenger side door control switch is operated to the lock side with the engine switch on (ACC) or on (IG) and the driver side door is opened

      • The driver or front passenger side door control switch is operated to the lock side with the engine switch on (ACC) or on (IG) and the front passenger side door is opened

      • The driver or front passenger side key-linked operation is performed to operate the switch to the lock side with the engine switch on (ACC) or on (IG) and the front passenger side door is opened

      		 Unlock Opened

      Note


      • *1: When checking "Driver Side Door Open-linked Unlock Function", make sure that the "Auto Lock Time" is set to "30 s" with the GTS customization. (The default setting is "30 s")

      • *2: Perform with the driver side door window open to prevent key lock-in.

    4. Check operation using other operations

      Lock/Unlock Door Outside Handle Sub-assembly Condition
      Speed Sensing Retraction Operation*1 Vehicle speed exceeds 10 km/h (6 mph) with handles opened - Retracted
      Front End Press Extend Function*2 The depression on the door outside handle sub-assembly is pushed in while the door outside handle sub-assemblies are retracted and the doors are unlocked - Opened
      Vehicle Idle Retraction Operation*3 Vehicle is left idle for approximately 60 seconds with the door outside handle sub-assemblies opened - Retracted
      Door Opening/closing-linked Extension Operation Function

      1. When the inside handle is operated with the door closed, unlocked and door outside handle sub-assembly retracted, the door outside handle sub-assembly extends in conjunction with the door opening operation

      2. When a door close operation is performed with the door unlocked and the door outside handle sub-assembly retracted, the door outside handle sub-assembly extends in conjunction with the door close operation

      		 - Opened

      • *1: When checking "Speed Sensing Retraction Operation", make sure that the "Outside Door Handle Retraction Adjustment" is set to "Level 3" with the GTS customization. (The default setting is "Level 3")

      • *3: When checking "Vehicle Idle Retraction Operation ", make sure that the "Outside Door Handle Automatic Retraction" is set to "60 Seconds" with the GTS customization. (The default setting is "60 Seconds")
