LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. BASIC FUNCTION INSPECTION


    1. Conditions necessary for the luggage compartment door to open:


      1. When any of the following conditions is met with the vehicle speed at 5 km/h (3 mph) or less, check that the luggage compartment door opens when the No. 3 combination switch assembly (luggage door opening switch) is pressed.


        • Engine switch off.

        • The shift lever is in P.

        • Parking brake applied

        • The brake pedal is depressed.

    2. Operation check


      1. When all the doors are unlocked, check that the luggage compartment door opens when the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is not being carried and the luggage electrical key switch is pressed.

        Note

        This function operates when "Trunk Link with Door Lock" in the GTS customization settings is set to "ON". This setting is "ON" by default.

      2. When the luggage electrical key switch is pressed while carrying the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly, check that vehicle exterior certification is performed and the luggage compartment door opens.

        • This function operates when "Trunk Link with Door Lock" in the GTS customization settings is set to "OFF". This setting is "ON" by default.

      3. While the luggage door opening cancel switch assembly is on, check that the luggage compartment door does not unlatch when the luggage door opening switch assembly is pressed.
