  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

    for HFC-134a(R134a):

  2. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

  3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and hold the hood lock assembly at the backside of the front bumper.

  5. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE LOWER ARM BRACKET BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  7. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER PRESSURE SENSOR

      Remove the tape.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the No. 2 cooler cover.

      *a Turn
      *b Hold
      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, remove the air conditioner pressure sensor from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note


      • Do not apply excessive force to the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      • Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
