AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM A/C Indicator does not Illuminate

DESCRIPTION

If none of the indicators on the integration control and panel assembly illuminate, the following malfunctions are possible.

Malfunction Status Factor
None of the indicators on the integration control and panel assembly illuminate

  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly malfunction

  • Integration control and panel assembly malfunction

  • Malfunction in one of the switch

  • Malfunction in one of the indicator (including cases where indicator turned off mid-operation)

  • Malfunction in one of the servo motors (initialization incomplete)

  • Damper and link operation (jamming)

  • Low ambient temperature (including thermistor assembly)

  • Low ambient temperature (including thermistor assembly)

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Check that the switch indicators on the integration control and panel assembly are illuminated immediately after starting the engine.

      OK
      The switch indicators are illuminateed on the integration control and panel assembly.

  2. CHECK MALFUNCTION STATUS


    1. Check the malfunction status of switch indicators on the integration control and panel assembly.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (AMBIENT TEMP SENSOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
