SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the telltale light assembly indicator illuminates.

      

      *A	w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch	*B	w/o Airbag Cut Off Switch
      *a	Rear Seat Belt Indicator(for Rear LH Side)	*b	Rear Seat Belt Indicator(for Rear RH Side)
      *c	Component without harness connected (Telltale Light Assembly)	-	-

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive → 1 (IG+) Battery negative → 8 (RLID) Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear LH Side) illuminates. Battery positive → 1 (IG+) Battery negative → 9 (RRID) Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear RH Side) illuminates. If the result is not as specified, replace the telltale light assembly.

2. INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the telltale light assembly indicator illuminates.

      

      *A	w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch	*B	w/o Airbag Cut Off Switch
      *a	Rear Seat Belt Indicator(for Rear LH Side)	*b	Rear Seat Belt Indicator(for Rear RH Side)
      *c	Component without harness connected (Telltale Light Assembly)	-	-

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive → 1 (IG+) Battery negative → 8 (RLID) Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear LH Side) illuminates. Battery positive → 1 (IG+) Battery negative → 9 (RRID) Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear RH Side) illuminates. If the result is not as specified, replace the telltale light assembly.
