The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the front seat cushion heater removal/installation are shown below.

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

      Cut off 44 tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER LH (FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER) (for Sports Seat Type)

    Tech Tips

    The front seat cushion heater cannot be removed as it is connected to the front seat cushion pad with cover LH.

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Detach the hooks.

      for Front Passenger Seat:


      1. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the connector of the occupant detection sensor.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

      Remove the front seat cushion pad with cover LH(front seat cushion heater).
