REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the vehicle.

      Note

      Do not damage the rear seatback assembly LH, body and body interior.

    2. B000UM7C01
      B000XM7 Nut
      B000TT4 Bolt
      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      Temporarily install the rear seatback assembly LH to the stud bolt.

    3. Temporarily install the nut and 2 bolts.

    4. Tighten the nut and 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other side.

      Attach the clips to install the rear seatback cover.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HOLDER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other side.


    1. B000VW9

      Install the rear seat cushion holder bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other side.


    1. Set a new rear seat cushion lock hook in place.

      *a Sleeve
      *b Protective Tape

      Using 2 thin-bladed screwdrivers, push the sleeve to attach the claws.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force which may break the sleeve.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Check the installation condition.

      OK
      The sleeve is installed properly.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the vehicle.

      Note

      Do not damage the rear seat cushion assembly, body and body interior.

      *1 Child Restraint Seat Anchor Bracket
      *a Hook on Rear of Rear Seat Cushion
      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      Attach the hooks on the rear of the rear seat cushion assembly to the 2 child restraint seat anchor brackets.

    3. B000VS7C03
      *1 Rear Seat Cushion Lock Hook
      *a Hook on Front of Rear Seat Cushion
      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      Push in the installation direction shown in the illustration and attach the 2 hooks on the front of the rear seat cushion assembly to the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

      Note


      • Attach the rear seat cushion front side hooks one at a time.

      • Check that the rear seat cushion lock hooks and rear seat cushion assembly are securely fastened.
