  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE


    1. B000YQ8C01
      *a Lock Button
      B000WYJ Push in this Direction

      Attach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Connect the airbag connector and push the lock button.

      Note


      • When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

      • Be sure to connect the connectors to each corresponding color.

      • Make sure the lock button is securely locked.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other airbag connectors.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. B000X39C01
      B000WYJ Slowly Pull

      Attach the hooks on the side of the airbag door facing the rear of the vehicle and set the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly onto the airbag door.

    2. Slowly pull the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to attach the hook on the side of the airbag door facing the front of the vehicle and install the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly.

      Install the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD

  7. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
