DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the GPS antenna.

  • When replacing the telephone transceiver assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 20 seconds.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the navigation antenna assembly.

  3. INSPECT ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the antenna cord sub-assembly from the navigation antenna assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the antenna cord sub-assembly from the antenna divider connector.

    3. Disconnect the antenna cord sub-assembly from the telephone transceiver assembly connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      A-3a - B-6a Always Below 1 Ω
      B-5 - C-1 (ANT2) Always Below 1 Ω
