PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
After the engine switch is turned off, the navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Note
The following malfunctions may occur if a radio receiver assembly or navigation ECU from another vehicle is installed to this vehicle. Therefore, when replacing the radio receiver assembly or navigation ECU, be sure to replace them with new ones.
Communication malfunction DTC is output
Does not operate normally
After replacing the radio receiver assembly, if the "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." on-screen message is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the navigation ECU.
After replacing the navigation ECU, if the "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." on-screen message is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the radio receiver assembly.
When replacing the telephone transceiver assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one.
