Note


  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

  • The following malfunctions may occur if a radio receiver assembly from another vehicle is installed to this vehicle. Therefore, when replacing the radio receiver assembly, be sure to replace it with new one.


    • Communication malfunction DTC is output

    • Does not operate normally

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      (to Radio Receiver Assembly)

      Disconnect the P43 and P46 radio receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P43-1 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P43-4 (+B1) - P43-1 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      P43-15 (ACC1) - P43-1 (GND1) Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      P46-19 (IG) - P43-1 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
