POWER STEERING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


  1. DTC


    • The rack and pinion engine steering gear assembly stores a DTC when it detects a malfunction in the ECU and engine steering system circuit. Click here

    • GTS enables stored DTCs to be checked and cleared, sensors to be calibrated, assist map to be written, and freeze frame data and Data List to be monitored.

  2. CHECK DLC3


    1. Check the DLC3.

  3. CHECK WARNING LIGHT


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and check the EPS warning light.

      Tech Tips

      If the EPS warning light does not illuminate, check the EPS warning light circuit.
