The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during electric parking brake ECU removal/installation are shown below.

Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX
REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
REMOVE INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
REMOVE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ECU
Remove the nut and disconnect the electric parking brake ECU.
Note
After removing the nut, the electric parking brake ECU may fall and be damaged. Therefore, remove the electric parking brake ECU while supporting it with your hand.
Disconnect the 2 connector and remove the electric parking brake ECU.
