  1. INSPECT ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the resistance.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 (LOK1) - 14 (GND1) Pulled (Release) 95 to 105 kΩ
        Pushed (Lock) 2.09 to 2.31 kΩ
        Neutral 95 to 105 kΩ
        2 (LOK2) - 14 (GND1) Pulled (Release) 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ
        Pushed (Lock) 1.045 to 1.155 kΩ
        Neutral 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ
        8 (RLS1) - 14 (GND1) Pulled (Release) 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ
        Pushed (Lock) 1.045 to 1.155 kΩ
        Neutral 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ
        9 (RLS2) - 14 (GND1) Pulled (Release) 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ
        Pushed (Lock) 1.045 to 1.155 kΩ
        Neutral 4.465 to 4.935 kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the electric parking brake switch assembly.
