DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly receives the wheel speed information of each wheel from the skid control ECU assembly via CAN communication.

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the skid control ECU assembly.

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch is on (IG).

  2. Malfunction signal is input from skid control ECU assembly for approximately 0.3 seconds.

  • Skid control ECU assembly

  • Parking brake ECU assembly

 Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

If the parking brake ECU assembly is replaced, perform the "Reset Memory" and "Acquire Tension Sensor Zero Point" procedures.

  1. CHECK DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTC.

  2. CHECK DTC (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > Electric Parking Brake > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Check for DTC.
