CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
If using a dropper to adjust the brake fluid amount, make sure that the dropper has not been used with mineral oils, water or deteriorated brake fluid. Sealed areas may deteriorate and lead to brake fluid leaks, or the brake fluid may deteriorate and lead to decreased efficiency.
PROCEDURE
INSPECT AND ADJUST FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (When Using the GTS)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3 with the engine switch off.
Check that park (P) is selected and the parking brake is applied, and turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on and enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Utility / ECB (Electronically Controlled Brake system) Utility / Zero Down.
| Tester Display |
|---|
| ECB Utility |
| *A | for LHD |
| *B | for RHD |
| *a | MAX Line |
| *b | MIN Line |
When Accumulator Zero Down Drive is complete and all brake fluid has returned to the reservoir, adjust the brake fluid volume so that the brake fluid level in the reservoir becomes the MAX line.

Turn the GTS off and turn the engine switch off.
Disconnect the GTS from the DLC3.
INSPECT AND ADJUST FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (When Not Using the GTS)
Turn the engine switch on (IG) and depress the brake pedal 4 or 5 times to operate the pump motor.
| *A | for LHD |
| *B | for RHD |
| *a | Fluid Level Support Line |
When the pump motor stops, adjust the brake fluid volume so that the brake fluid level in the reservoir becomes the fluid level support line position.

Tech Tips
The fluid level support line is between the MAX line and MIN line.
