SKID CONTROL ECU(for LHD) INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

While the battery is connected, even if the engine switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or the door courtesy switch turns on. Therefore during servicing of the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal and open/close the doors while the battery is connected.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. B000Y6Y

      Install the skid control ECU assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 4 connectors to the skid control ECU assembly.

  2. INSTALL MAIN BODY ECU

  3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION AND CALIBRATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE

  4. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION

  5. PERFORM TEST MODE INSPECTION

  6. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
