YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure as for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR


    1. B000YISC01
      *a Identification Number

      Install the yaw rate sensor with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • Make sure the yaw rate sensor's identification number is 9.

      • If the yaw rate sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.

      • Do not mistake the installation direction of the yaw rate sensor.

      • When installing the yaw rate sensor, make sure to avoid impact to the sensor.

      • After the installation, check that the yaw rate sensor is not tilted due to the floor carpet or any foreign matter.

    2. Connect the connector to the yaw rate sensor.

      Note

      Make sure that the yaw rate sensor connector is connected securely.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. B000VP8

      Install the No. 1 console box mounting bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
    2. B000UOV

      Install the pedestrian detection ECU assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX SUPPORT


    1. B000U2W

      Install the No. 1 console box support with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
    2. B000V2IC01
      *1 Indoor Electrical Key Antenna Assembly

      Attach the 2 clips and connect the floor carpet to the No. 1 console box support.

    3. Attach the 2 clamps and connect the wire harness to the No. 1 console box support.

    4. Attach the clamp and connect the indoor electrical key antenna assembly.

  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION AND CALIBRATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE

  6. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION

  7. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
