TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM Cannot Switch to Automatic ID Registration Mode

DESCRIPTION

Operate the steering pad switch assembly, select "Change Wheel Set" on the multi-information display and press and hold the "ENTER" switch (steering pad switch assembly) until the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times and the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter moves to the ID registration mode via the automatic ID registration function.

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives signals from the combination meter assembly via the CAN communication line.

   1. Perform the test mode inspection and check for the tire pressure warning reset switch check item (DTC C2198/98).
