SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ABSORBER CONTROL ECU


    1. Install the absorber control ECU with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • Avoid any impact to the absorber control ECU.

      • Do not drop the absorber control ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

  2. INSTALL REAR STEERING CONTROL ECU (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering)

  3. INSTALL STEREO COMPONENT EQUALIZER ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering)

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD BRACKET


    1. w/o Dynamic Rear Steering:


      1. B000W0W

        Install the No. 2 deck board bracket with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        15.8 N*m  { 161 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }
      2. Connect the 3 connectors.

    2. w/ Dynamic Rear Steering:


      1. B000Z4I

        Install the No. 2 deck board bracket with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        15.8 N*m  { 161 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }
      2. Connect the 3 connectors.

      3. B000XJ4C04
        *a Lock of the Lock Lever
        *b Lock Lever

        Connect the 3 connectors to the rear steering control ECU.

        Tech Tips

        When connecting the connector with lock lever, return the lock lever to its original position and securely push in the lock of the lock lever as shown in the illustration.

  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    • After replacing the absorber control ECU, it is necessary to perform registration of vehicle identification information. Vehicle identification information is automatically acquired when the system enters test mode.
