OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000WEI

      Remove the 6 bolts.

    2. B000WINC01
      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, remove the snap ring from the stator shaft assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the stator shaft assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. B000URA

      Remove the front oil pump cover sub-assembly from the front oil pump body.

  2. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY


    1. B000UJ9

      Remove the front oil pump body from the stator shaft assembly.

  3. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR


    1. B000W8CC02
      *1 Front Oil Pump Driven Gear

      Remove the front oil pump driven gear.

  4. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR


    1. B000V8M

      Remove the front oil pump drive gear.

  5. INSPECT OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY CLEARANCE

  6. REMOVE RING PIN

    Tech Tips

    It is not necessary to remove ring pins unless they are being replaced.

      Remove the 2 ring pins.
