OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL RING PIN

    Tech Tips

    It is not necessary to remove the ring pins unless they are being replaced.


    1. B000TWH

      Install the 2 ring pins.

  2. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR


    1. B000XXAC01
      *1 Front Oil Pump Driven Gear

      Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF.

    2. Install the front oil pump driven gear to the front oil pump body.

  3. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR


    1. B000YYZC01
      *1 Front Oil Pump Drive Gear

      Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF.

    2. Install the front oil pump drive gear to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY


    1. B000UJ9

      Install the front oil pump body to the stator shaft assembly.

  5. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front oil pump cover sub-assembly to the front oil pump body.

    2. B000WINC01
      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring to the stator shaft assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the stator shaft assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. B000U6IC01
      B000XM7 Bolt A
      B000TT4 Bolt B

      Install the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.1 N*m  { 93 kgf*cm, 81 in.*lbf }
      Bolt Length
      Item Length
      Bolt A 45 mm (1.77 in.)
      Bolt B 50 mm (1.97 in.)

  6. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR ROTATION
