INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
Check speedometer operation
Note
The combination meter assembly receives the vehicle speed signal from the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) via CAN communication. Therefore, perform the following inspection referring to values on the Data List of the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) because it is the source of the vehicle speed signal.
Data List values of the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) are used for this inspection. Therefore, make sure to perform this inspection after confirming that DTCs are not output.
Warm up the engine.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.
Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING
Disconnect the connector of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
Start the engine.
Using SST, check the display of the combination meter assembly when connecting the vehicle wire harness side connector terminal of the engine oil pressure switch assembly to the body ground.
INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL WARNING
Start the engine.
With the engine warmed up (coolant temperature 80°C or higher) and after 40 seconds or more have elapsed with the engine speed at 1700 rpm or less, check the multi-information display on the combination meter assembly with the engine oil level sensor connector disconnected.
