  1. INSPECT COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Courtesy Light Switch)

      Inspect the courtesy light switch.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        Terminal 1 - Switch body Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Not pushed Below 1 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the courtesy light switch.

        Tech Tips

        Connect the negative (-) tester lead near the bolt hole.
