EXHAUST PIPE GAS CONTROL ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT EXHAUST PIPE GAS CONTROL ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Start the engine.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Control the Exhaust Exterior Valve Angle.

      
      Powertrain > Engine > Active Test

      Tester Display
      Control the Exhaust Exterior Valve Angle

   5. Confirm that exhaust gas is replaced by 4 systems from 2 systems.

      4 systems

      If the result is not as specified, inspect the exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly and exhaust tailpipe assembly.
