INJECTOR DRIVER REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the injector driver removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER


    1. B000W6MC01
      *a Lock Lever
      *b Lock
      *c Connector (with Lock)

      Push the lock and move the lock lever of each connector (with lock) as shown in the illustration and disconnect the 6 connectors (with lock) from the 2 injector drivers.

    2. Disconnect the 2 injector driver connectors.

    3. B000TVEC01
      B000XM7 Bolt
      B000TT4 Nut

      Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and No. 1 injector driver and No. 2 injector driver.

      Note

      Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
