CYLINDER BLOCK REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE STRAIGHT PIN

    Tech Tips

    It is not necessary to remove the straight pins unless they are being replaced.


    1. Remove the straight pins from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      *a Upper Side *b Lower Side
      *c Front Side *d Rear Side

    2. Using a plastic hammer, tap in new straight pins to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      *e 23 mm (0.906 in.) *f 11 mm (0.433 in.)
      *g 9 mm (0.354 in.) *h 6 mm (0.236 in.)
