    1. Customizing using the GTS

      Tech Tips

      The following items can be customized.

      Note


      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize / Illuminated Entry or Entry&Start / Access.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.


        Illuminated Entry
        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Lighting Time

        Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the DOOR switch of the map light sub-assembly is on:


        • Map light sub-assembly (front dome light)

        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly (footwell light)

        		 15 s 10:30 s,00:15 s,01:7.5 s Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L when ACC OFF

        Turns off the following lights automatically when the DOOR switch of the map light sub-assembly is on and the engine switch is turned from on (IG) or on (ACC) to off:


        • Map light sub-assembly (front dome light)

        • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly (footwell light)

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock

        Turns on the following lights automatically when the DOOR switch of the map light sub-assembly is on and the doors are unlocked by an unlock operation (key-linked, wireless or entry unlock function):


        • Map light sub-assembly (front dome light)

        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly (footwell light)

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Room Light when Aprchd

        Turns on the following lights when the DOOR switch of the map light sub-assembly is on and the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought near the vehicle:


        • Map light sub-assembly (front dome light)

        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Inside Foot Light Turns on the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly (footwell light). ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Light Control

        Dims the following lights when the engine ruuning and the shift lever is moved to any position other than P:


        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Light Control

        Turns on the following lights:


        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Illumination Light

        Turns on the following lights:


        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        		 ON 0:OFF,1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

        Entry & Start
        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Engine Start Indicator Setting for the function to turn on the engine switch illumination or cause it to blink. ON 0:OFF,1:ON Certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)

    2. Customizing using the multi-display


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below:

        Light Settings
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Interior Light Off Timer 15 sec.

        Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the DOOR switch of the map light sub-assembly is on:


        • Map light sub-assembly (front dome light)

        • Front door trim board sub-assembly (door ambient illumination light)

        • Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly)

        • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly (footwell light)

        		 Off, 7.5 sec., 15 sec., or 30 sec. Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
