  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      w/o Double Locking System:


      1. Install the front door inside locking cable assembly LH to the front door lock with motor assembly LH and attach the clamp as shown in the illustration.

    2. B000X0TC01
      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      w/ Double Locking System:


      1. Install the front door inside locking cable assembly LH to the front door lock with motor assembly LH and attach the clamp as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

      w/o Double Locking System:


      1. Install the front door lock remote control cable assembly LH to the front door lock with motor assembly LH and attach the clamp as shown in the illustration.

      B000WYJ Install in this Direction

      w/ Double Locking System:


      1. Install the front door lock remote control cable assembly LH to the front door lock with motor assembly LH and attach the clamp as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      w/o Double Locking System:


      1. Attach the claws.

        B000WYJ Install in this Direction

        Attach the claws to install the front door lock cover sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. w/ Double Locking System:


      1. B000WY6

        Attach the claws.

      2. B000ZAMC02
        B000WYJ Install in this Direction

        Attach the claws to install the front door lock cover sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

    Note


    • When reusing the removed front door lock with motor assembly LH, be sure to replace the door lock wire harness seal on the connector with a new one.

    • Keep the door lock wire harness seal of the connector free from grease and dust, etc.

    • Reusing the door lock wire harness seal or using a damaged door lock wire harness seal may cause water to enter the connecting part. This may result in a malfunction of the front door lock with motor assembly LH.


    1. w/o Double Locking System:


      1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

      2. B000VYT

        When reusing front door lock with motor assembly LH:


        • Install a new door lock wire harness seal to the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

      3. Install a new door lock wire harness seal to the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

        B000XM7 "TORX" screw
        B000TT4 Connector

        Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the front door lock with motor assembly LH with the 3 screws.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      5. Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Double Locking System:


      1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

        When reusing front door lock with motor assembly LH:


        • Install a new door lock wire harness seal to the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

      3. Install a new door lock wire harness seal to the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

      4. B000X2GC03
        B000XM7 "TORX" screw
        B000TT4 Connector

        Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the front door lock with motor assembly LH with the 3 screws.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      5. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR FRONT LOWER FRAME UPPER COVER LH

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT DOOR HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX

  10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  14. INSTALL FRONT DOOR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  16. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD

  17. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
