The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the connector holder.

      *a Power Supply Connector
      *b Lever Connector
      B000TT4 Connector

      Disconnect the power supply connector and then the lever connector.

      Note


      • First disconnect the power supply connector.

      • When removing the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU, take care not to damage it.

      B000WYJ Remove in this Direction

      Detach the claw and remove the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU.

      Note


      • Do not touch the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU connector.

      • When removing the No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU, take care not to damage it.

      • Do not use a No. 3 semiconductor power integration ECU that has been dropped or subjected to a strong shock.
