DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly (footwell light).

  • Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Service Bulletin.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the P10 No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH (footwell light LH) connector.

    2. Disconnect the P11 No. 1 interior illumination light assembly RH (footwell light RH) connector.

    3. Disconnect the 3A driver side junction block assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P10-2 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      P11-2 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P10-1 (E) or 3A-36 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P11-1 (E) or 3A-37 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the driver side junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      3A-36 - A-26 (FSPT) Always Below 1 Ω
      3A-37 - A-26 (FSPT) Always Below 1 Ω
