LIGHTING SYSTEM Interior Light Auto Cut Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the battery saving control operates, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the operation of the DOME CUT D relay that is built into the driver side junction block assembly to turn off the interior lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test

      Relay for Interior Light Auto Cut Function DOME CUT D relay ON or OFF

      ON: DOME CUT D relay off (interior lights turn off)

      OFF: DOME CUT D relay on (interior lights turn on)

      All of the interior lights turn off when ON is selected.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)

      Disconnect the driver side junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the driver side junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
