Tip:

When removing the name plates or luggage compartment door emblem, heat the luggage compartment door panel and name plates or luggage compartment door emblem using a heat light.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR EMBLEM


    1. B006YEWC01
      B006Y8C Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the luggage compartment door emblem as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover, separate the double-sided tape and disengage the 2 pins to remove the luggage compartment door emblem.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.

    REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

      Apply protective tape around the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover, separate the double-sided tape and disengage the 10 pins to remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.

    REMOVE NO. 7 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

      *a Wooden Block
      *b Piano Wire
      B006Y8C Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the No. 7 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.

    2. Insert a piano wire between the luggage compartment door panel and No. 7 luggage compartment door name plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and cut the double-sided tape that holds the No. 7 luggage compartment door name plate to the luggage compartment door panel.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.

    5. Remove the No. 7 luggage compartment door name plate.

    REMOVE NO. 4 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

      Apply protective tape around the No. 4 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.

    2. Insert a piano wire between the luggage compartment door panel and No. 4 luggage compartment door name plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and cut the double-sided tape that holds the No. 4 luggage compartment door name plate to the luggage compartment door panel.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.

    5. Remove the No. 4 luggage compartment door name plate.

    REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE

      Apply protective tape around the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate as shown in the illustration.

    2. Insert a piano wire between the luggage compartment door panel and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and cut the double-sided tape that holds the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate to the luggage compartment door panel.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.

    5. Remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
