INSTALL REAR SPOILER RETAINER
Tech Tips
When installing a new rear spoiler retainer, heat the luggage compartment door panel and rear spoiler retainer using a heat light.

| Luggage Compartment Door Panel | 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) |
| Rear Spoiler Retainer | 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) |
CAUTION:
Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.
Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

Note
Do not heat the luggage compartment door panel or rear spoiler retainer excessively.
Clean the luggage compartment door panel surface.
Using a heat light, heat the luggage compartment door panel surface.
Remove any double-sided tape from the luggage compartment door panel.
Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

Primer |
Using a brush or felt, apply primer or equivalent to the rear spoiler retainer installation area.
Note
Use a clean brush or felt.
Do not touch the luggage compartment door panel until the primer has dried.
Remove the release paper from a new rear spoiler retainer.
Engage the 3 guides and attach the double-sided tape to install the rear spoiler retainer.
Tech Tips
Press the rear spoiler retainer firmly to install it.
Install the rear spoiler retainer with the 6 clips.
INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Tech Tips
When installing a new rear spoiler sub-assembly, heat the luggage compartment door panel and rear spoiler sub-assembly using a heat light.

Press the rear spoiler firmly to install it.
Install the rear spoiler sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.
