FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Pre-collision System)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)

      Remove the 2 screws.

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)

      Remove the 2 screws.

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 4 guides and 2 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD LH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front bumper pad LH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD RH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD LH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front bumper pad LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD RH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  10. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Bar Type Radiator Grille:


      1. Disengage the 10 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

      1. Disengage the 12 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    1. Disengage the 7 clamps to remove the headlight cleaner hose.

      Disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)

      Disengage the 6 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)

  19. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

      Disengage the 6 clips.

      Separate the double-sided tape and disengage the guide to remove the hood to front end panel seal.

  20. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the radiator grille emblem assembly.

  21. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SIDE MOULDING LH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)

      Remove the screw.

      Disengage the 3 claws to remove the radiator grille side moulding LH as shown in the illustration.

  22. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SIDE MOULDING RH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)

    2. Disengage the 18 claws to remove the lower radiator grille sub-assembly.

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the radiator grille side moulding LH.

  36. REMOVE PIN HOLD CLIP

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the 2 pin hold clips as shown in the illustration.

  37. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Remove the 2 front fender liner retainers as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  38. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Disengage the 4 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

  39. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. Remove the headlight assembly LH.

      for LED Type Turn Signal Light:

    2. Remove the headlight assembly RH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Disengage the 5 clamps.

    4. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  40. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the bolt.

      Disengage the 2 clips to remove the front bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.
