LIGHTING SYSTEM(w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System) High Beam Headlight Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The headlight ECU sub-assembly controls the high beam headlights.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK LIGHTS

   
   

   1. Check the illumination of each high beam lights.

      Result
      Result Proceed to LH side high beam light does not illuminate A RH side high beam light does not illuminate B

   PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS Click here

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Active Test.

   5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

   1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B-10 (HI+) - E-1 Always Below 1 Ω B-1 (HI-) - E-2 Always Below 1 Ω

7. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling (Sub) / Active Test.

   5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
