DESCRIPTION

The headlight ECU sub-assemblies operate the headlight leveling motors according to the vehicle conditions.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Start the engine.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Active Test.

   5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      
      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Active Test

   1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

   1. Remove the headlight assembly LH.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B-7 (ACTBI) - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω B-8 (ACTSI) - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω B-17 (ACTGI) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
