DESCRIPTION

The headlight ECU sub-assemblies operate the headlight leveling motors according to the vehicle conditions.

Note

If the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Start the engine.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Active Test

      Drive The Leveling Motor Headlight leveling motor upward or downward operation Stop, Down or Up Perform the Active Test with the engine started and vehicle stopped

    1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

    1. Remove the headlight assembly LH.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      B-8 (ACTSI) - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      B-17 (ACTGI) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
