FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  2. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

    Click here

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

    Click here

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

  10. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  13. REMOVE FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH

      *a Protective Tape
      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      for LHD:


      1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the fuel lid opener switch as shown in the illustration.

    2. for RHD:

        *a Protective Tape
        B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

        Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the fuel lid opener switch as shown in the illustration.
