The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during ion generator sub-assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Remove the screw and air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE ION GENERATOR WITH BRACKET


    1. for LHD:


      1. B0071EG

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the 2 screws.

      3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the ion generator with bracket.

    2. for RHD:


      1. B0071J8

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the 2 screws.

      3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the ion generator with bracket.

  6. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Remove the screw and air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE ION GENERATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 screws and ion generator sub-assembly from the No. 1 ion generator bracket.
